More about The Neighborhood in Rio Rancho!
At The Neighborhood in Rio Rancho, you’ll find a higher level of retirement living.
Some consider it impolite to talk about the cost of your home—but not us. We believe in full transparency about exactly what you’re going to pay and exactly what you’ll get. We’ll go through everything you need to know to make an informed decision, including the Entrance Fee, the Monthly Fee and what’s included in the Life Care contract (which is likely more than you think).
Do you want to get the most for your money? We thought so. Take this two-minute quiz (yes, it’ll actually take two minutes) to find out what floor plan will be the best fit for your budget.
The Entrance Fee is a one-time fee you pay when you first become a resident. Your Entrance Fee is determined by the size and style of the apartment you choose. Our two Entrance Fee options—Traditional and 50% Refundable—offer flexibility as you plan for your future.
The Monthly Fee is an ongoing fee associated with residency. The amount is also determined by the size and style of home you choose. At your current residence, you might pay different bills every month to take care of various needs and conveniences. Here, you pay one fee, once a month. In return, you get a lot for your money. Think we’re exaggerating? Here’s a summary of all the perks your monthly fee gives you access to:
Second Person – $67,928
Second Person – $93,060
The fees above are effective October 1, 2024. All fees are subject to change.
The Traditional Plan provides a 90-day estate death benefit and a prorated refund should you move out within 36 months of occupancy. There are no refunds beyond 36 months.
The 50% Refund Plan provides a prorated refund of no less than 50% of the entry fee.
The refund is paid to you or to your estate if you move out or upon death.
Should your needs change over time, your Resident and Care Agreement also provides you with access to health services. Upon permanent transition to a higher level of care for any Independent Living resident, the Monthly Fee will adjust to a rate equal to the then current Birch Apartment Monthly Fee plus the cost of two additional meals.
Life Care is the type of contract offered at The Neighborhood. It guarantees you access to a comprehensive range of on-site, long-term care services that are included in your Entrance Fee, with the only added cost of additional meals. You’ll have access to Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care (including Alzheimer’s and dementia care), Short-Term Care, and Long-Term Nursing. We also offer Rehabilitation and Hospice.
